Odaiba Marine Park is the free sand-and-boardwalk stretch below the Odaiba malls: children dig and paddle at the water’s edge (swimming itself is not allowed outside special events — a fact we keep verified), showers exist for the sandy aftermath, and the Rainbow Bridge sunset is the classic Tokyo family photo. It is the open-air half of any Odaiba day.

Slot it against the indoor anchors: an hour of sand between Miraikan and the malls resets a toddler better than any exhibit.
